The lake fed rivers are still high from this weeks persistant rain. The quicker runoff stuff is moving and ready to go high when the next dose arrives. The kent and the Greta are flowing enough for sport.

The forecast is predicting more rain over the weekend with a narrow but energetic front dumping in the early hours of Saturday, so Saturday morning should see high water levels. The picture after that is very active, with strong winds and heavy showers. Tentative predictions suggest that southern areas of mountain areas will get the highest rainfall due to strong Southerly winds. Watch out for trees on Sunday after those winds come through.

Tides are pretty high, and there is swell all over the place but it will be a bit wild out there!

Time to dust off that 'to do' list...
