Its been a good week for kayak porn this week.

The russians are still cleaning up with all the awards for 'best beatdown on youtube'. This fall is miles from anywhere if my geography is about right, which makes it all the more impressive. I was just willing him to get out intact! Watch out whitewater world, the russians are learning to kayak in their own hairy arsed style :-D!

On the opposite end os the porn spectrum is the big budget trailer of the Black Book film of Steve Fisher. Heli shots galore, I was even kinda going with the voiceover, but then the music reverted to type. I hit 'mute'. Still the paddling is full on and i like the playboating emphasis on the big double moves, rather than the the little techy tricks.

Oregon kayaking have got another grand clip from Coombs and Stookesbury. This time the Gore canyon in flood, I like it when they actually try and give a feeling of what is on the pictures with the audio. It shows that what can be done wth free content - marketing works! I think Jackson Super Hero's are cool, and I have never even seen one :-)

First info is out of the brit 'Fat Cats' return to Greenland. This is expedition boating in its rawest form. Map, plane ticket, boat full of kit, into the mountains to find, and then run, the gnar. If last years exploits are anything to go by it will be worth watching the full reports when they return.

Kayak session has a new look website which brings all the web media to the front. TV, blogs reports are all front page items and there are new interactive features which echo the format of the mag itself.
