Hokitiki Riki takes a hit on the must run 60 footer on Skookumchuck creek BC. Somehow he got away with it totally unscathed though :-)

Kayak porn watch will return soon, I have brought myself back from the depths of broadcast TV and have been doing the necessary research! The blogs have all been all updated recently.

Just a quick note to confirm the date for this years Shap event. Were going with Saturday the 29th of November. We are working on the details, but that is the date to keep free!

The line up is coming togther nicely and will be confirmed soon. The basics format of Films/party and BYO will all be the same. I'll post more details in the usual spots, and will get a poster done, but if you can reach those for whom the tinterweb has not reached that would be good!

It's not looking good for river boating unless your heading to the far North West of Scotland. The rain there is due to stay, but will only move further South in a light band on Sunday afternoon. River levels are pretty low, the lake fed stuff is still just about moving but not worth traveling to.

Surf forecast is poor, but the tides are high so some of the races will be running (not enough for Arniside though).

Teeside is open in the morning, the Tryweryn is open from the Chipper down.
