'Same shit, different angles' is this weeks theme;

At last I've found some playboating which held my interest! Triberiders have got a really interesting shoot from the Ottawa. The different images start from about half way down the page. Also I love their new front page shot and the desktops in the downloads section look good.

The front edge of river SUP is represented here and later in the same clip is some nice headcam footage from one of the classic Californain steeps which give a good impression of that style of boating.

Also from Stookesberry comes a POV video guide to Cherry Creek.

Something different; I think that if I could be granted the ability to do one sport well, (other than kayaking) it would be parkour. This guy seems to have got the hang of it - but if that is a bit tame then maybe proximity flying is more your cup of tea.  What could possibly go wrong with this ;-)?

I'm getting increasing tempted by this SUP business as well. Obviously they are never going to be as functional on a river as a kayak, but as a blend of simple transportation, a core strength/balance thing and a challenge, it looks pretty good. I'm hoping to have a proper play on one soon...
