Porn Watch returns with a credit crunch busting UK edition! At 1 euro and 1.40 US to the pound, I think more of us may need to find some fixes on these shores this year....
Wales is our featured destination for glamour and adventure. How about the Gamlan here but further south you could try the Mellte. Probably best not to try repeating this move though.
Last but not least is this descent of the BIG one on the Mawddach (pictured) - respect - its a super bold entry onto that kind of fall.
A reminder that anyone who is logged in can add their own (or other folks) video from the video page in the media section - feel free....just remember to stick it in a 'category' |

The rivers are running but not at very high levels after some overnight rain. All the bigger rivers are passable today, with the lake fed stuff being at respectable flows. The band of rain in the Irish Sea is being very unreasonable and heading East. It is due to dump some water on the South West of Scotland though, so thats the best bet if you can get there. There is not much more rain forecast for the weekend.
There is decent surf predicted to roll in of the North Sea (10ft - 2stars on MSW) but its gonna be windy and cold...Tides are quite high.
have a good one.... |

Sorry for the late post - I grabbed a sneaky run of the kent at lunchtime so this didn't get done!
levels are high after a very wet week. We had big floods on Thursday, so watch out for tree debris etc. The lake fed stuff is still very high/flooding, the becks are down, and the rest is somewhere inbetween. The forecast is for very scattered light showers before another, fairly weak, front is due from the South during Sunday. The hills are laden with snow but the temperatures will be marginal between rain or snow on the hills so the runoff on Sunday will depend on that. The lake fed, or lowland rivers should stay high all weekend, but those snowy hills are looking good as well...
Tides are pretty high. There is big swell in the Atlantic but nothing to drool over on the N East coast is predicted for the weekend.
Enjoy...

The lake fed rivers are still high from this weeks persistant rain. The quicker runoff stuff is moving and ready to go high when the next dose arrives. The kent and the Greta are flowing enough for sport.
The forecast is predicting more rain over the weekend with a narrow but energetic front dumping in the early hours of Saturday, so Saturday morning should see high water levels. The picture after that is very active, with strong winds and heavy showers. Tentative predictions suggest that southern areas of mountain areas will get the highest rainfall due to strong Southerly winds. Watch out for trees on Sunday after those winds come through.
Tides are pretty high, and there is swell all over the place but it will be a bit wild out there!
Time to dust off that 'to do' list... |
