Im just playing round recreating a video share feature. It's not quite right at present, but bear with us. Click through the 'film comp' button on the 'media' menu to see the screen working on all videos just for now. Cheers

There is a free to download 2010 calender in our downloads section. You can see the web res shots here. A big shout to Poke for support, design work and to all the photo contributors, Mark Allen, Ross Wildman, Kelvin Horner, Lindsay Heeley, Charlie Gwilliam and Amie Young. Also thanks to those that bothered to send in images that were not included.

All images used are of UK boating and the calender hopes to celebrate our sport - as well as being moderately useful!

So now just add a decent colour printer and your sorted for a calender :-). All the images should look good at A4 size.

We are on with a 2010 calender but I keep getting distracted by playing out in the snow!

Friday forecast and kent cam

Its going to be a cold and dry weekend. The lake fed may still be moving but will drop fairly quickly. Tides are low and the surf forecast is uninspring.

The kent cam has a fairly fundamental issue (its broken) so its going to take a while to get it sorted. We are considering a spend but they are not cheap, and it would use up all the Shap funds (and some of next years), so we'd like to explore all the alternatives first.

Flood Fund Charity Event PosterAfter all the flooding on the 19th November Cumbria Community Foundation set up the Cumbria Flood Recovery Fund.  Check out their website for information about making a donation and now a group of kayakers are putting an event together to raise money for the fund.  Again check out their website for more information, but it seems, from what has been put down on paper, that it is going to be a good, well organised event that will raise money for a very worthwhile cause.

To date they are gauranteeing a raffle with prizes from Jackson Kayak, Immersion Research and System X.

The event is to be held at the Burrs Country Park on the 17th January 2010 and kicks off at 10:30am.
