Looking to the future...

The NRPC blog has been quite for a while now.  I suppose exams have been upon us and assignments have had to be done so there has been little chance to update the blog as all our freetime has been taken up with paddling and this aforementioned work.

However, as another academic year comes to an end people move on to bigger and better things and people move in to fill the shoes of those that have moved on.  I suppose I'm ultimately trying to say that a set of new students, with grand ambitions for the paddling club, have now moved into office in the hope of pushing the club onto greater things and keeping a record of it all on here.

Over the summer months we're hoping to get a few posts up about what this new committee have already achieved and what they are hoping to achieve and you'll be able to follow us throughout the next academic year and actually see if us student types can live upto what we say we can do.

The new chairman and secretary have just got back from an Alps trip where plenty of plans for the future have been talked about.  On this particular trip they were accompanied by lecturers.  The grand plan for next year is that as a student organisation they can organise and run such a trip.

Happy paddling.
