Hey first blog entry, suppose I should introduce the club - All of the students at the Newton Rigg Campus of the University of Cumbria have the chance to join the paddling club. A lot of us are outdoor students studying for a degree, most of us having coaching qualifications and loads of free time to go paddling.

We are due to have a whole load of freshers within the next few weeks, we have taster days, BUCS competitions, a trip to Scotland and within the year trips away to as far away places as Uganda, Morocco and many hours of playing on local rivers in the Lake district.

We go to all sorts of events like NSR, all of us love a party and can't get enough paddling in, contact us if you want to go paddling or if your going to any events and would like someone you know there.
