There is a programme of activities planned for boaters over the longest day weekend at Brockhole (Windermere). 'Come and try it' sessions, free coaching (skills and playboating), fun races, free climbing wall and other points of interest. The evenings entertainment will be a film evening which rainchasers is doing in conjunction with WCK. Our film comp prizewinners will be invited to receive their prizes as part of this.

The following day is the 'blue ribbon event', a straight race from one end of the lake to the other of England's longest lake. The mass start and open boat class should appeal to those who fancy their chances, and those who fancy a nice day out alike.
