Just a shout to all those who made Shap another successful night. Obviously big thanks to anyone who turned out on a super cold night, we hope you enjoyed it. These things cant happen without those helping on the night (and morning after) and the film-makers themselves. It was nice to have so many of the contributors there in person again. I think it adds to the sense of "anyone can get out there and run that stuff if you put your mind to it". So thanks to Tom, Jonny, Shaun, Nic, Shorty, Hazel, Rob, Jack, Joe, Steve and Kris - who unluckily couldn't show his masterpiece after dropping his hard drive :-( . Also film-makers Ali, Slime and Dave for introducing their films and Max and Olaf for letting us show their work. Also a big shout to WINDERMERE CANOE and KAYAK, for the support and the unexpected treat of a goody drybag for all. Nice one. The proceeds make rainchasers independent for another year and will hopefully push us a bit further forward with the river levels systems. That means we can rant about anything we (or you) like, and squeeze the most enjoyment out of the whitewater resources we have in these parts. Watch out for a new stream of data from the EA this week and fresh video short competition with awesome prizes. See you on the river :-) Comments (5)
