The milanese fashion houses are trembling with the news that rainchasers has gone into the world of haute cauture.

Basically its our attempt to get the funding of the site to be sound. We made enough out of shap to go for this year but what we spend on the website itself we cant use for cams and gauges. There is still the gauge to buy bits for and potential cams that all need paying for. Cumbria canoeists have offered to pay for one which is cool, but the project is dragging due lack of technical know how to come up with a plan that will actually work within budget (an outdoor IP web cam is too much). There are solutions but they are going to take some experimentation, and more importantly, time, to sort out. Anyway thats the justification to offer you some clobber, and charge you a few quid extra for a hoodie or tee with our logo on it. prices come out pretty competitive with other companies who trade off extreme sports hype, so why not ....

I really want total editorilal freedom and openess for the site.  Anyone (with no direct commercial interest) can contribute to rainchasers and it needs more contributors. if you know me, please dont feel obliged to buy one, I've not bought one yet cos im a stingy, scruffy git and have got enough to wear atm

Im hoping we can do more designs soon and offer something else by way of "off the water wear for the fashion unconscious".
