There is now a permanent webcam set up on the banks of the river Kent in Kendal Cumbria.

It can be found by using the Kentcam menu on the left of the page. 

The Lower Kent is one of the classic lakeland runs, and the upper Kent from Burneside through to Kendal (keeping an eye on the weir in town), is a pleasant run for those wanting a more sedate experience.
