It was wet midweek but the rivers are back to being low now. There are scattered showers around and more due tonight. The surf forecast is for small but nice surf on Saturday over on the North East coast. There are free coaching and events at Brockhole. Ideally ring WCK to book but just turning up will be fine. I'm gonna make sure I get to the first aid CPR demo advice clinic, so it would be good if someone else gets clued up on how to save my ass ;-) as well! rainchasers are runnning the evening do with the film comp reults, and the European Premiere of 'Call of the River' a great historical documentary about the sport. Again if you can book with the shop thats great but just turning up will work! its a fiver including a buffet and is not for profit as there are costs involved. Sunday brings the "Longest day, Longest lake, Longest Race" a straight dash or bimble down Windermere. Hope to see you there
