Its looking good for some boating. There is a large, heavy band of rain currently over Wales and teh midlands and its moving North. It will be falling on pretty wet ground, with the main rivers already boatable, after a spate on Wednesday. Its due to break up a bit by Saturday morning but heavy and long showers will still be around, but these will fadie out over the weekend. Looks like tonight and tomorrow morning will see the highest levels. There is less forecast for North of the border (though it needs less), and Wales is looking wet now. Surf forecast is also looking good. Magic seaweed is expecting 2 star 10ft surf on the NE coast. Tides are medium and falling. Teeside is open in the afternoons, and the Tryweryn from the Chipper down. Just FYI it is expected that the fish will start to run as the spate subsides, which makes it prime fishing time on the relevant river sections. Enjoy!
